programs under the University of Dhaka.
Course Contents
The course structure is yearly basis allowing Textile Engineering students to select a broader range of subjects including textile technology, textile engineering as well as management, marketing, industrial law, computer literacy etc.
FIRST YEARThe first year syllabus consists of pure science in addition to some basic concepts of Textile Engineering.

SECOND YEARFrom second year & onwords students acquire wide range of theoretical and practical knowlege in the area of Textile Technology and Engineering which equip them for future employment. Subject offered in second year are –

FOURTH YEAR In the fourth or final year students have to choose group of subjects for specialization. Subjects offered in fourth year are - Common Subject : TE-405

In addition to the above subjects every students of final year has to perform a project work, Industrial attachment for two months and appear comprehensive viva-voice. Academic performance of the students are evaluated by continuous assessment and annual theoretical & practical examination.
